Liz María Solari Poggio was born on June 18, 1983 in Barranquilla, Colombia. Eduardo Solari, her father, was working there as a coach for Junior de Barranquilla. Her brothers Santiago Solari, Esteban Solari, David Solari (i.e., every brother except Martín Solari) are footballers.She is also the niece of former player Jorge "El Indio" Solari and has been nicknamed "La Indiecita" because of that.

Bio

I was born in Colombia on 18/06/83. That was my destiny. However, I grew up in Rosario, Argentina. I had an amazing childhood in the countryside, full of happiness, creativity and a strong connection with nature. I studied English-Spanish Translation at university till my curiosity led me in 2001 to begin with my first and determined steps as a model. I got independent and traveled the world. But I needed to go further so I started studying acting, singing and dancing. Art skills I was keen on since I was a child.
In 2008 I had my first experience in theater, starring the musical play “Barbie Live”. In that moment I realized acting was going to be one of the passions in my life.
Creating, exploring new paths, breaking down barriers, and never stop learning: that's definitely my way.

Solari has acted in film and television, not only in Argentina, but also Italy and Spain. She has also impersonated the famous fashion doll, Barbie, in theatre. As a model, she has worked with local brands, as well as European designers such as Roberto Cavalli and Jean-Paul Gaultier.
